Arthur V. Ford, CPA/PFS, CFP®, MST


Art is the lead shareholder at the Sullivan Bille P.C. responsible for the founding of Wealth Management Advisors, LLC. Currently serving as President of Sullivan Bille P.C., Art has been involved in a wide range of services, specializing and working with closely-held businesses, their owners and finances, including tax planning, compensation, fringe benefits, retirement plans, real estate, wealth accumulation and family planning. He has represented clients at all levels of the Internal Revenue Service, has obtained several private rulings and appeared at the Appeals Office of the IRS as a consultant for our clients and other accounting firms. He has written several published articles and appeared as a speaker at seminars and colleges. He has also been qualified and appeared in court as an expert witness on various tax matters. In the financial planning area, Art has attained the PFS designation from the AICPA and is a CFP® certificant. In personal financial planning, he works with clients and their advisors in their decisions regarding tax, retirement, estate planning, insurance needs analysis and asset allocation.
Mr. Ford graduated from Merrimack College in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is a certified public accountant and was awarded a Masters in Taxation in 1980 from Bentley College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and Merrimack Valley Estate and Business Planning Council. He has served on the MSCPA’s state tax committee since 1976 and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Merrimack Valley Estate and Business Planning Council and is a past president of the Council. In estate planning, he has attained the designation of Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) from the National Association of Estate Planning Councils. He has also served on the board of the Financial Planning Association, the national organization for Certified Financial Planners and as President, Chairman and Treasurer of the local Chapter of the Financial Planning Association. Art also serves on the MSCPA personal financial planning committee.
Art has served as a United Way volunteer for several years. He was also one of the alumni co-chairs of his class for their last two reunions and a member of Merrimack College’s Alumni Council. He is actively involved in The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce and is a member of their Board of Directors. Locally, he has coached youth basketball and softball for several years. Art lives in Tewksbury, Massachusetts with his wife Phyllis.
